The Bay Area Panthers are bolstering their offensive line in 2025 by way of Delvin Salter. The 6-foot-4 offensive guard brings one year of Indoor Football League experience along with significant collegiate playing time.
In 2024, Salter started 15 contests throughout his rookie campaign with the Northern Arizona Wranglers. While playing for the Wranglers, he gained invaluable familiarity with current-Panthers offensive coordinator Rod Windsor, offensive line coach/AHC Les Moss and quarterback Josh Jones, as all were with NAZ then.
Salter’s college playing days featured two years at the University of West Alabama. He was in Livingston from 2020 to 2021, starting multiple games for the Tigers on the offensive line in each season.
In 2019, Salter was a dominant force for Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, MS. He appeared in eight games for the Wolves and regularly mowed over opposing defenders with ease.
Salter also spent time at Tennessee’s Austin Peay State University in 2016.
A native of Memphis, TN, Salter played prep football at Whitehaven High School. He performed brilliantly at both offensive guard and offensive tackle for the Tigers, garnering a two-star rating by 247Sports. Additionally, he was a runner up for the 2015 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football award.
Bay Area Head Coach Rob Keefe is elated to bring aboard a player of Salter’s caliber.
“Delvin is a strong, athletic offensive lineman who operates with confidence and efficient movement. He can snatch opponents and has a smooth flow while exploding off the ball, with a sudden anchor to lock out opponents in his pass sets,” Coach Keefe lamented.
