Offensive lineman Christian Coulter joins the 2025 Bay Area Panthers for his rookie Indoor Football League season. Standing at 6-foot-5, Coulter offers pro-level size along with deep collegiate experience. He was recruited to Bay Area by Panthers offensive line/asst. head coach Les Moss.
Coulter played college football at Western Carolina University from 2021 to 2023, typically starting at guard or tackle. He logged 32 total games for the Catamounts, and earned both All-Conference and FCS Football Central All-America accolades in his final year.
Upon completion of his athletic career at WCU, Coulter graduated with a degree in Marketing.
Prior to arriving at Western Carolina, Coulter competed for two seasons at Tennessee’s Tusculum University (2019-2020) wherein he played with Coach Moss’ son, receiver Jake Moss. On the gridiron, Coulter started 16 contests for the Pioneers, seeing most of his snaps at right tackle. In 2020, he was awarded Academic All-SAC honors.
Originally, Coulter hails from Thomson, GA. He attended Thomson High School, which has produced many notable NFL players despite being located in a town of less than 7,000. Coulter absolutely dominated the prep circuit, thrice being named All-Conference with the Bulldogs while also attracting an All-State designation in 2018.
When asked during Bay Area Panthers Weekly on KNBR for his favorite aspect of football, Coulter declared, “Just being violent.” Certainly, Head Coach Rob Keefe has the right kind of guy in Coulter along the offensive line.
Conversely, Coulter is thrilled to come aboard for Bay Area. “[Coach Keefe] never lacks energy. I could hear the excitement in his voice when talking about his goals and vision for the season, and for us as players,” he told Panthers color analyst Mike Pawlawski.
Look for Coulter anchoring the offensive line this season at San Jose’s SAP Center and beyond.
