Summary

Biography

Jones signed with the Panthers in the 2024 season before Game 11 against the San Diego Strike Force after a stint coaching high school football in Louisiana.  Jones spent the previous two seasons with the Tucson Sugar Skulls and in 2023 was third on the team in rushing. 

Jones played his college football at McNeese Statewhere his explosiveness was on full display his senior season, as he averaged 35 yards on kick returns, registering a 99-yard touchdown. For his career with McNeese, Jones racked up 920  all-purpose yards, and averaged 7.1 yards a carry.  

A native of Kentwood, Louisiana, Jones attended Jewel Sumner High  School, where he was a standout track athlete as a state champion in  the 100-meters and also was a member of the state champion 400  and 800-meter relay teams for the Cowboys.
