Bay Area Panthers

Hungerford returns for his second season with the Panthers, signing two days before Game 4 against San Diego.  In 2023, Hungerford shared the linebacker position with Wes Bowers on the way to winning his second straight IFL Championship.  Following the home win over Duke City, Hungerford was named the IFL Defensive Player of the Week after recording 11 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble and two pass breakups. He was one of six defensive starters who joined Bay Area after winning the IFL championship at Northern Arizona in 2022.

In 2021, he played two years in the German Football League where he was named 2021 All-Europe Firset Team, recording 121 tackles.  

At Kean Universitry, Hungerford was named honorable mention All-American by D3football.com.  Over his college career, Hungerford recorded 321 tackles and established a school record with 25 in a single game.
