Dr. Robert Kessler joins the Bay Area Panthers for the 2025 IFL campaign. Away from the field, he serves as a chiropractor in nearby Morgan Hill, where he’s practiced for the past dozen-plus years.
A former football player himself, it was a personal injury from sports—and the subsequent rehab benefits that chiropractic care provided—that first inspired Dr. Kessler to take his chosen career path. As such, he now holds specializations in sports injury management and physical rehabilitation.
Despite hailing from San Diego, Dr. Kessler’s higher education started at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Upon completion of his studies on the Central Coast, he attended Palmer Chiropractic College in San Jose for four years. He is also bilingual, showcasing the ability to conduct professional affairs in Spanish.
Dr. Kessler received certification as a QME from the State of California following his graduation from chiropractic school, remaining in the Bay Area ever since. “I am happy to say that I am still excited and honored to serve my fellow man. It is a joy to make a difference,” Dr. Kessler professes on his clinic’s website.
As a part of Panthers Head Coach Rob Keefe’s training staff, Dr. Kessler will assist with all medical and rehab matters related to players.
