Peterson joined the Panthers before the Week 17 game against San Diego following his release from the Arizona Rattlers following a groin injury...He was the kicker for the 2022 IFL National Champions at Northern Arizona to cap a whirlwind season--starting  in Columbus in the NAL before stints in Massachusetts, Vegas, Frisco and finally Northern Arizona...Among the season's highlights was the game-winning field goal against Arizona in the Western Conference Championship game...Peterson also won titles in the NAL with Carolina in 2018 with Albany in 2021, giving him three titles in four years...Peterson is the NAL single game, playoff and career record holder in deuces...He began his pro career in 2014 after not playing in college at SUNY Corland.  Peterson was in camp with Ottawa of the CFL before signing with Tampa Bay of the AFL where he played in 2015 and 2016.  In 2017, Peterson kicked for the Spokane Empire of the IFL before being invited to camp with the Hamilton Tigercats of the CFL.  This is Peterson's ninth professional season and eighth playing indoors.
